CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK

Chitwan National Park is one of the best Parks in Nepal, established in 1973, where you can have a look of various species of birds,plants and animals including wildlife, flora and fauna.chitwan-jungle-safari.gif

Chitwan is situated only 150m above the sea level, during the March-June the steamy covers all the way around. Whereas the short grass of Feb-May the best game-viewing season, but the autumn months are gorgeous with Himalayan views and in winter (December-January)        

 

BARDIA NATIONAL PARK

Bardia National Park is the largest park of the country that lies in the lowland or western Terai. The park covers an area of 968 sq. km.bardia-tour-nepal.gif It was established to protect the ecosystems and conserve the tiger and other species of animals. Initially, in 1976, the small area that was named as the Karnali Wildlife Reserve, with the passing of time, people over 1500 families came to resettle in the area and government allowed them to do although the areas was protected.

KOSHITAPPU WILDLIFE RESERVE

Koshitappu wildlife reserve lies on the flood plains of the Sapta-Koshi river in Saptari and Sunsari Districts of eastern part Nepal. koshitappu-wildlifeThe reserve offers an important habitat for a variety of wildlife. The last surviving population (about 100 individuals) of wild buffalo or Arna is also found here including other mammals. A total of 280 different species of birds have been recorded. Amidst the jungle environment Aqua Birds unlimited camp and Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp have come into existence.
